Born on February 27 in Rosiori de Vede, Teleorman.
Studies: absolves the Institute of Plastic Arts „Nicolae Grigorescu" Bucharest, in the class of the masters Corneliu Baba and Alexandru Brãtãsanu. University docent in the department of scenography in the National University of Arts Bucharest, between 1968-1991.
Personal exhibitions in Bucharest (selection): „Apollo" (1975); „G.A.M.B" (1983); „Simeza"(1987); „Orizont" (1995). He participates at all the national and international exhibitions, in the period 1965-1990. He had over 30 participations at group exhibitions in Bucharest, in the period 1996-2003.
Group exhibitions abroad: Prague, Torino, Sofia, Moscow, Warsaw, Athens, Frankfurt pe Main.
He signs the scenography of numerous representations (selection): „The men that hush", Al. Voitin (Cassandra), 1962; „George Dandin", Moliere (Giulesti Theatre), 1963; „Eight women" de R. Thomas (Sibiu), 1965.
Prizes: The UAP Excellence Diploma, 2001. In 2004, the President of Romania offers him the Order „the Cultural Merit in Degree of Chevalier". He has works in museum and private collections in Romania, England, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, S.U.A, Holland, Sweden, Australia, Israel, Belgium and Greece
