Born on 18^th februarie 1939 - Resita, Caras-Severin county.

Studies: 1957-1963  Fine Arts Institut "Nicolae Grigorescu", Bucharest, under the direction of Ion Popescu-Negreni, Stefan Constantinescu and Gheorghe Popescu.1963 was assigned at the chair of Monumental Painting Departament. He fallows all didactic steps to become teacher. Since 1965 - member at The Artists's Union - Romania. 1971-1972 DAAD's grant at the Dusseldorf Academy, teacher  Rolf Sackenheim. Since 1993, yearly, was teacher invited  at The Summer Academy from Beratzhausen, Bavaria. 2002 Doctorate in Visual Arts - National University of Fine Arts - Bucharest. Since 2005 Leader of Doctorates at the same University.
